I spent the day feeling sorry for myself and thinking I had meningitis. I’ve had all my shots so it’s unlikely, but I just felt so ill. I went to the GP and she took my vitals in a tent in the medical practice’s carpark. It felt alien to me. I felt scared. She told me I most likely didn’t have meningitis, and instead I have a viral infection of some description. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to be tested for COVID tomorrow. I’ll miss a revision session for my assessments next week. I’m sad. The world is really sad right now, even more than usual
